About This Role

The successful candidate will be involved in upgrading tunnel control systems for three tunnels in Northern NSW and contribute to the development of the new Coffs Harbour Bypass project.

They will provide system engineering and assurance functions for branch and broader strategic delivery portfolios.

Maintaining a holistic view of business and technology systems, they will act as a trusted expert driving consistent methodologies and practices across Transport clusters.

They will adhere to and maintain rigorous governance frameworks applying best practices and industry-leading methodologies to ensure projects deliver safe, reliable, and fit-for-purpose outcomes.

Key Requirements
  • Design, delivery, maintenance, and implementation of tunnel control systems.
  • Hands-on experience with system integration, smart network technologies, ITS, CCTV, Telecommunication Networks, and programmable logic controllers.
  • Understanding of system architecture, assessing, and implementing tunnel systems while recognizing when configurations may not be necessary for efficient operations.
