Job Overview

The Visitation Officer will join our small team dedicated to engaging our supporters and new people to Bush Heritage, through a range of events and reserve visits. This role plays a key part in providing support across the organisation with event and visit related activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the delivery of our Visitation Program, focusing on guided visits ranging from single to multi-day trips.
  • Coordinate and manage group visits in field-based locations, requiring an excellent understanding of trip planning and logistical requirements.
  • Undertake administrative tasks such as trip documentation, promotions, bookings, briefings, and reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in similar roles or outdoor education, nature, or adventure tourism sectors.
  • A genuine commitment and passion for nature conservation and Bush Heritage's vision and values.
  • High level of computer literacy and proficiency with personal computers, including word processing, Outlook, spreadsheet, and data software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with participants and staff.
  • Ability to assess and mitigate risks associated with field-based activities.
