We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Application Support Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will provide technical support and application advice for all products.
- Act as a representative of the company, supporting its products and solutions to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Deliver expert post-sales technical support for products and systems via email and phone.
- Assist customers, sales teams, and with application-based pre-sales technical inquiries.
- Provide specialist product advice to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the service experience.
- Manage and resolve complaints and technical inquiries promptly and effectively.
- Cross-functional collaboration with commercial engineers, technical consultants, and product managers—to deliver accurate solutions for business-related technical projects.
- Create and maintain technical resources, such as website content and knowledge base articles.
- Facilitate Level 1 and Level 2 technical training sessions for internal staff, with a focus on the Customer Service Centre.
- Support sales staff with technical presentations and field assistance as required.
- Tertiary qualifications in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- 1-3+ years experience in an Engineering role.
- Practical application knowledge in Power Distribution, Motor Control, Automation, Machine Safety or Industrial Products.
- Demonstrated passion for building a career in technology, with a proactive attitude towards continuous learning.
- Keen attention to detail and a strong aptitude for problem-solving.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A highly motivated and enthusiastic approach, with a strong work ethic and pride in delivering quality results.
- Advanced computer literacy and confidence in navigating digital tools and systems.
