Caring Caseworker

As a Senior Caseworker with BaptistCare, you will be providing specialist and therapeutic casework to women and children who have experienced family or domestic violence. You will create an environment that fosters healing and improved outcomes for women and children.
You will undertake client-focused and trauma-informed assessments to identify the needs of individuals and their ongoing case plans. Additionally, you will take on a facilitator role in group work and attend local network meetings and events to represent BaptistCare.

Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist and therapeutic casework to women and children who have experienced family or domestic violence
- Undertake client-focused and trauma-informed assessments to identify individual needs and develop ongoing case plans
- Facilitate group work and participate in local network meetings and events to represent BaptistCare
- Diploma minimum qualification in Community Services, Social Work, or other relevant fields
- Knowledge and experience in trauma-informed practices
- Minimum three years' experience in casework, case management, or client support and/or assessment
- Experience delivering group work or training
- Ability to work with individuals and families from diverse cultural and language backgrounds
This part-time position offers:
- An estimated annual salary of $74,000 based on 60.8 hours per fortnight
