About the Job

At a leading logistics provider, we are seeking an experienced Cargo Assistant/Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for safely operating a counterbalance forklift and loading/unloading cargo in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, along with a valid ASIC Card and/or CAT 2 License. They will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload cargo from trucks and containers.
  • Process cargo documentation and complete paperwork accurately.
  • Assist with data entry and perform other administrative tasks.
  • Stack and wrap pallets to ensure safe transportation.
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Valid ASIC Card and/or CAT 2 License.
  • Full Working Rights.
  • Full Driver's License.
  • Police Check or willing to obtain.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Availability to work a rotating roster including morning, afternoon, and night shifts.
