Logistics Operations Manager

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced logistics professional to lead our trade and fulfilment operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving improved efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction through effective team leadership and process optimization.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assemble a high-performing team to manage and operate our trade and fulfilment centre, fostering a culture of safety, engagement, and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve year-on-year improvements in safety and productivity levels, aligned with industry benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with transport teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences, ensuring seamless order fulfillment and timely delivery.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs and congestion in stores by streamlining processes and eliminating non-core tasks, resulting in optimized customer experiences.
  • Prioritize and implement a customer-centric approach that reduces reliance on store support, improving overall service quality.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and manage a large, diverse team while driving a culture of safety and performance improvement within a site.
  • Strong decision-making capabilities, excellent communication skills, and partnership approach across all levels of the organization.
  • Able to negotiate and influence, holding team members accountable for results.
