Job Description

This full-time position involves supporting a client in Oakleigh who requires ongoing care due to limited mobility and a tracheostomy.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional teamwork skills and champion a safe and positive environment for the client, guided by a strong Allied Health presence.

You will play a vital role in managing and maintaining clinical standards, supporting the client in achieving their short and long-term goals.

  • Airway management and assistance
  • Continuous clinical assessment of the client
  • Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
  • Experience with non-cuffed Tracheostomy care and management
  • PEG management including feeding and medication administration
  • Personal care including skin integrity management and pressure area care
  • Supporting the client with activities at home and out in the community
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Current AHPRA Registration
  • CPR Certificate (within 12 months)
  • NDIS Worker Screener Check
  • International Police check (if applicable)
