We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to join our team as a Wellbeing Support Worker.

Job Description

Lives Lived Well's Shanty Creek Program provides a safe and supportive environment for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men and women to overcome alcohol and other drug dependency or misuse, and mental health concerns. The program is built on the principles of acceptance, compassion, respect, and trust.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing day-to-day support to clients, including client supervision outside of normal program hours, taking clients to appointments, supervising self-administration of medication, and maintaining accurate records.

The role requires flexibility and commitment to working a 24/7 roster pattern, with sleepover shifts involving sleeping onsite in a secure space to be available if residents require assistance overnight.

Key Requirements
  • Holding a current Australian Driver's Licence
  • Holding, working towards, or being willing to obtain a Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs, Mental Health, Community Services, or another relevant field
  • Being willing to obtain First Aid and CPR Certification
