Gold Coast Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse to join our oncology day infusion unit on a temporary basis. You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care are provided.

About The Role

RN Grade 2, $54.91 – $58.75. Day Infusion unit. 2x temporary contracts available. Subsidised meals and discounted staff parking. Gold Coast Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse to join our oncology day infusion unit on a temporary basis. You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care is provided.

Responsibilities

• Support the nursing team with planning, assessment, implementation and evaluation of evidence-based, person-centred care.
• Demonstrate professional practice by adhering to AHPRA standards, code of ethics and conduct, legislative requirements and Healthscope policies.
• Foster a learning environment through clinical presentations to support professional development and provide supervision and teaching to peers, ENs, graduates and students.
• Act as a valued member of the interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care and contribute to team processes.
• Collaborate with external partners to ensure high-quality care across the health care continuum.
• Maintain professional working relationships with VMO partners and support a customer service mindset for optimal patient outcomes.

Essential Criteria

• Current AHPRA registration
• 3 years' experience within an acute environment
• Senior clinical nursing experience
• 1-year minimum team leader or in-charge nursing experience (desirable)
• Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
• Ability to show initiative and work within a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Passion for teaching, educating and up-skilling staff in cardiac operating theatres
