Senior Project Manager Job Description

This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing complex, high-priority projects. You will work closely with clients and project teams to source new business opportunities, develop repeat business and deliver successful projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects on time, within budget and to client specifications.

  • You will provide input into business development proposals, assist in winning new work through negotiation of commercial and legal conditions, and develop relationships with target clients.
  • Developing strategic business plans that support the company's goals and objectives.
  • Identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery.
  • Leading cross-functional project teams to achieve quality deliverables on time.
  • Strengthening the team's capability through recruitment, retention and development activities.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Project Management.
  • Proven experience in managing and directing major projects.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, including senior stakeholders and employees.
  • Knowledge of relevant design codes, local regulatory authority guidelines and industry standards.
