Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and manage end-to-end sourcing activities for the department's Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Sourcing Team, in line with the department's Procurement and Contract Management framework.
- Deliver effective value-for-money outcomes to client business areas.
- Prepare sourcing plans, complex evaluation and negotiation reports, briefings, and presentations to influence senior stakeholders and achieve sourcing objectives.
- Ensure a high level of customer service is provided to internal and external stakeholders.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Expert who possesses:
- Procurement delivery: A wealth of expertise and experience in delivering end-to-end complex sourcing activity, especially in ICT contract and vendor management, in a regulated environment.
- Strategic sourcing: A strong ability to plan and manage high-value and business-critical procurement activities.
- Negotiation: Extensive experience in conducting negotiations with suppliers.
- Contract design and management: Seasoned expertise and experience in ICT contract development in a complex and changing environment.
The successful candidate will possess relevant tertiary qualifications, preferably encompassing procurement, supply chain, commerce, law, ICT, or business administration. Experience and understanding of government procurement and policies will be highly desirable.
