Goodstart Early Learning is Australia's largest early learning Not-for-Profit. Our purpose-built Centre located in the vibrant Elara Village Shopping Centre features eight expansive learning spaces designed to foster creativity and exploration.
SalaryThe salary for this role is estimated to be between $38.12 - $59.13 per hour, with a fixed-term contract from December 2024 – November 2025.
Job DescriptionThis exciting opportunity is for an experienced early learning professional eager to advance their career, sharpen their leadership skills, and contribute to building a thriving business. As the Assistant Director at Goodstart Elara – Harvest Street, you will leverage your expertise and leadership to inspire and motivate your centre team, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations.
You will collaborate with our dedicated leadership team, forge respectful and reciprocal relationships with families, and actively engage with the local community networks.
Responsibilities- Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care.
- Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team.
- Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director's absence.
- Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Diploma or bachelor's in early childhood education.
- Hold a current NSW Working with Children Check, or be willing to obtain one.
- Experience with leading and managing change within education, health or community services.
- Experience in delivering integrated early childhood services in areas of disadvantage.
- Proven commercial acumen with financial and operational performance management.
