Job Overview

This senior role oversees and manages horticultural activities to ensure efficient and safe operations. Ideal candidates have commercial landscape maintenance experience with a strong understanding of roadside/open space mowing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily work schedules, ensuring seamless execution and high safety standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and complete comprehensive audits.
  • Collaborate in developing and implementing safe work practices and procedures.
  • Support performance reviews to facilitate professional growth.
  • Proactively address workplace health and safety concerns.
  • Actively engage in scheduled toolbox meetings to discuss critical safety updates.
Required Qualifications:
  • Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens.
  • Significant mowing experience.
  • Experience supervising local government contracts.
  • Valid White Card.
  • Valid Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain.
  • Valid Drivers' license.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
