Key Responsibilities- Provide support to the Compliance Manager in identifying and ensuring compliance with external regulatory requirements.
- Assist the business in ensuring all employees and intermediaries comply with compliance obligations, policies, and processes.
- Monitor the regulatory landscape, assess trends, and interpret how they will affect the business.
- Manage the Australian Sanctions Program, including assessing queries, running sanctions checks, and liaising with the Global Team.
- Develop and update the Compliance Annual Training program for all staff, including developing the annual calendar and forwarding it to the GGB-AU Risk Committee for approval.
- Manage and update Compliance Policies and procedures, including implementation due to annual review or statutory/regulatory change.
- Promote appropriate compliance behavior and culture by effectively communicating and disseminating compliance strategy, policies, and processes.
- Develop quarterly reports for the wider business and provide technical compliance review of new products/schemes and binders.
- Support key projects with compliance advice and attend Industry forums as appropriate.
- Ability to work efficiently and manage multiple engagements, processes, and competing priorities simultaneously.
- Proactive nature with the ability to show initiative and a sense of urgency.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
- High attention to detail and ability to follow direction accurately.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Strong stakeholder management.
- Tertiary qualifications.
