Warehouse Manager Position

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to manage our warehouse operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of warehouse employees, ensuring efficient and safe operations in the warehouse.
About You:
- You have a strong background in warehouse management with experience in leading and supervising teams
- You possess excellent communication skills and are able to motivate and mentor employees
- You have a great eye for detail and are able to work well under pressure
- Exceptional commitment to safety, environmental, and quality standards
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of warehouse employees
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate and efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of goods
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
- Schedule and coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs
- Train new employees and ensure all employees follow company policies and procedures
- Develop and implement strategies to improve warehouse efficiency and reduce costs
Requirements:
- 3-5 years experience operating in a busy warehouse and logistics environment
- Must have a forklift license and experience using a forklift (essential)
- Certification in Warehousing (advantageous)
- Physically fit and able to stand, repetitively lift more than 15 kg consistently and 20 kg occasionally
