About the Job:

The Warehouse Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the warehouse, ensuring efficient and effective operations. This includes supervising the receipting, picking, and dispatching of goods, as well as leading and supporting the warehouse team to achieve productivity targets and maintain safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Supervise and assist in the day-to-day running of the warehouse operations, focusing on receipting, picking, and timely dispatching of goods">
  • Lead and support the warehouse team, providing coaching and on-the-job training to ensure productivity targets are achieved and safety standards are maintained">
  • Undertake manual handling tasks, including lifting and carrying stock, pushing and pulling trolleys, and operating pallet jacks">
  • Contribute to the development of the warehouse team, identifying and addressing health and safety risks, and providing recommendations to improve operations">
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • ">
  • Proven leadership and management experience, preferably in a warehouse or distribution environment">
  • Significant experience in supervisory roles, with a strong focus on process adherence and accuracy">
  • Ability to demonstrate a customer-centric approach and work effectively within a team environment">
  • Working knowledge of WMS or relevant warehouse management systems">
  • Good understanding of health and safety practices and procedures">
  • Strong organizational and time management skills">
  • Current Forklift Licence and Driver Licence">

Desirable Qualifications:

Experience working with bonded goods or in a bonded warehouse is highly regarded.

Work Hours:

">

Monday: 7am - 3:30pm

">

Tuesday - Friday: 7am - 3pm
