About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Cleaner at East Kimberley College. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe learning environment for our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out internal and external cleaning duties, including maintenance of carpets and hard floor surfaces, cleaning of furniture and fittings, windows, toilets, and dusting.
  • Remove rubbish, clean drinking troughs, external windows, verandas, and covered areas, and remove cobwebs.
  • Participate in vacation cleaning, including stripping and sealing of vinyl floors, carpet shampooing, pressure cleaning of undercover areas and verandas, and other duties as directed by the Cleaner-In-Charge.
Requirements
  • A good attention to detail and ability to work well both individually and as part of a team.
  • Organized, reliable, and punctual with excellent knowledge of cleaning equipment and safe cleaning procedures, methods, and practices.
