Your Role:

Juniper Aged Care is actively seeking an experienced, skilled, and detail-oriented Domestic Cleaner to join our dedicated team at Juniper Numbala Nunga Residential Aged Care Home in Derby on a casual ongoing basis. In this role, you will focus on maintaining cleanliness and comfort, ensuring a welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors. You will play a key role in upholding hygienic standards in residents' living spaces and communal areas. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about their work and committed to making a positive impact on the lives of older individuals. Duties may vary based on facility needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide thorough cleaning services with attention to detail
• Respect residents' property and privacy
• Safely use equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Adhere to Juniper's safety and infection control procedures

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience Required:

• Aged care cleaning experience highly desirable
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and procedures
• Experience in ordering and maintaining cleaning supplies
• Ability to operate heavy cleaning machinery
• Strong understanding of infection control standards
• Previous experience in domestic cleaning within an aged care setting
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
