The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant or Secretary to join our Brisbane legal support team on a full-time basis. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting our Partners and clients with administrative tasks, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Partners' internal and external appointments, including travel and diary management.
- Assist with meeting preparation, including coordinating logistics and materials.
- Coach and mentor the team Administrative Assistant to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders by phone, using a professional and personable manner.
- Assist with document creation, editing, formatting, and finalization.
- Coordinate and manage a broad variety of responsibilities and deliverables.
- Manage billing processes for your direct team, including clients with specific and complex billing and administration requirements.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Legal Assistant.
- Previous billing experience is essential (Aderant Expert).
- Previous experience in extensive diary and inbox management is essential.
- Ability to anticipate Partner requirements to reduce administrative time.
- Previous matter management experience.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in the office five days per week.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
