Quality Assurance Manager

Target Business Services is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of operations and produce, aiming to drive the long-term success of the business.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage the company's quality assurance strategies, policies, and processes to ensure top-tier product quality.
- Lead the inspection of produce, ensuring apples, pears, and stone fruits meet specifications for size, appearance, taste, and shelf life.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with national and international food safety regulations, including HACCP, SQF, and other relevant quality standards.
- Collaborate with production and packaging teams to identify quality issues and work proactively to resolve them.
- Oversee all aspects of quality control, including produce inspection, and documentation.
- Conduct regular audits of suppliers and distribution facilities to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues in a timely manner.
- Train and mentor staff on quality assurance protocols and best practices.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance management, preferably in the food industry.
- Proven experience in quality assurance, ideally within the fresh produce, agriculture, or food manufacturing industries.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP, and other quality management systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address quality issues proactively.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
- Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards
