The role is focused on managing insurance programs to mitigate risks and ensure optimal coverage. The Insurance Manager will oversee the annual renewal process, ensuring alignment with the company's risk appetite.
Key responsibilities include developing innovative insurance strategies, managing insurance claims, conducting quantitative risk analysis, and preparing strategic risk assessments for executive decision-making.
As a senior leader in the Treasury team, you will provide expert advice on emerging risks, support enterprise-wide risk frameworks, and educate stakeholders on best practices. This role requires strong technical expertise and interpersonal skills, with experience in corporate insurance management and risk transfer mechanisms.
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, Engineering, or a similar quantitative discipline is required. At least three years of experience in managing corporate insurance programs, ideally in a regulated environment, is also necessary.
Additionally, knowledge of corporate governance, relevant regulatory frameworks, and project management principles is essential. Strong report writing and presentation skills are also required, as well as a working knowledge of data analysis and spreadsheet modeling.
