Key Role Overview

As the frontline leader of a banking team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth in your local community.

This is a full-time role that requires strong leadership skills, with accountability for financial, risk, and operational performance.

You will recruit, coach, and elevate your team to deliver a superior banking experience, ultimately contributing to the branch's and our customers' success.

  • Hold accountability for compliance and risk management – build a culture of doing the right thing.
  • Drive customer acquisition, service, and retention – building genuine connections with our customers and the community.
  • Lead and uplift frontline staff through training, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Drive results that have a clear, positive, and direct impact on overall branch performance – with responsibility for profit and loss.
  • Take ownership of resolving customer concerns effectively and efficiently.
Essential Skills
  • Strong leadership experience, ideally gained in a Retail Banking environment (preferred, not essential).
  • Proven experience of holding accountability for risk and compliance, staff performance, and customer experience.
  • High-energy, with an ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Experience of working to fulfill business performance targets and spur growth.
  • Ability to effectively de-escalate and address challenging situations by using strong communication and problem-solving skills.
