Inventory Manager Role

We seek a skilled professional to assume the responsibilities of an Inventory Controller. The ideal candidate will support the Operations Manager in ensuring equipment requirements are met.

The role involves maintaining awareness of department cost parameters, identifying equipment shortages, and liaising with relevant staff regarding required or needed equipment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Identify and rectify equipment shortages
  • Manage departmental costs and optimise operational efficiency
  • Liaise with team members to ensure seamless equipment usage
  • Communicate alternative equipment options and transfer/cross-hiring solutions
  • Assist with transfer preparation and deliveries
  • Generate transfers for base and venues checking equipment availability
  • Resolve late equipment shortages through collaboration with the team
  • Investigate equipment damage or loss with relevant departments
  • Provide input on new equipment purchases and assess their feasibility
  • Become proficient in operational areas and identify best practices with suppliers
