
Medical Record Coordinator

We are seeking a permanent part-time Records Clerk to join our team at the Leichhardt Medical & Dental Centre.
Job DescriptionManaging confidential documentation is a critical function in this role. The successful applicant will be responsible for responding to requests for medical records in a timely and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to requests for medical records within established timeframes
- Manage large volumes of confidential documentation with accuracy and attention to detail
- Meet deadlines and ensure all tasks are completed on time
Requirements:
- Previous administration experience is essential for success in this role
- A proven track record of managing documentation allocation and records is preferred but not essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to interact effectively with patients, doctors, and other healthcare professionals
- A strong attention to detail is necessary to maintain confidentiality and accuracy
- Demonstrated initiative, time-management and flexibility are key attributes for success in this role
- The ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks is essential to meet deadlines
- A self-motivated individual who can work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient computer skills are required to use software applications and systems efficiently
- Typing speed 38 wpm is expected
