Job Overview:
- We are seeking a seasoned financial professional to lead our treasury operations. As the Treasury Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the bank's financial reporting, liquidity position, funding requirements, market and investment risk, securitisation programs, capital risk, and balance sheet composition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes.
- Manage daily treasury operations, including cash flow forecasting and liquidity management.
- Oversee wholesale short-term debt issuance and maturities.
- Monitor and manage interest rate risk in the banking book.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
- Cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive strategic growth.
The Successful Applicant Will Have:
- Demonstrated expertise in treasury management within the banking or financial services sector.
- A deep understanding of financial markets, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting, or a related field.
