- Leadership and Team Building: Develop and manage a high-performing team focused on cost estimation and contracts, fostering a collaborative environment and promoting professional growth.
- Strategic Procurement: Leverage expertise in Australian procurement contracts, project supply negotiation, and contract administration to drive strategic procurement decisions and optimal contract terms.
- Contract Administration: Provide dedicated contract administration support to internal stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate execution of contracts, including JDE entries and supplier setup.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain long-term relationships with contractors, promoting a culture of openness, trust, and collaboration.
- Commercial Acumen: Utilize strong commercial acumen to negotiate contract terms, resolve disputes, and manage contract-related issues, ensuring professional standards and compliance.
About You
This role requires a results-driven leader with demonstrated skills and experience in traditional procurement, project management, and contract administration. Key qualifications include:
- Procurement and Contract Management: Proven experience in procurement and contract management, including Australian contracts and project supply negotiation.
- Leadership and Team Management: Strong leadership skills, with a history of managing high-performing teams and building rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
- Commercial and Contract Negotiation: Effective negotiation skills, with the ability to negotiate contract terms, resolve disputes, and manage contract-related issues.
