Job DescriptionWe are seeking a talented and experienced Ecommerce Specialist to join our Arndell Park team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our ecommerce strategy, optimising the user experience, and driving online sales.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute the overall ecommerce strategy, in line with the company's business objectives and market trends.
- Own the functional roadmap for the ecommerce platform, setting clear priorities and timelines for feature development and enhancements.
- Manage the end-to-end ecommerce operations, including website management, content creation, product assortment, product information, pricing, and promotions, with a focus on driving revenue and trade.
- Optimise the user experience on our ecommerce platform, ensuring seamless navigation, intuitive design, and simplified checkout processes to maximise conversion rates.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective digital marketing campaigns, SEO strategies, and SEM initiatives to drive traffic and increase online sales.
- Work closely with the Digital, IT, and third-party stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of the ecommerce platform, troubleshoot any technical issues, and implement new features and functionalities to enhance the user experience.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify emerging trends, industry best practices, and customer preferences, and translate them into actionable insights and strategies.
- Collaborate with the sales team to integrate online and offline channels, enabling a seamless omni-channel experience for our customers and maximising trade opportunities.
- Optimise pre and post-purchase customer experience elements to drive increased customer satisfaction via complete quote, order, and delivery transparency.
- Implement robust reporting mechanisms to track ecommerce performance, analyse key metrics, and provide regular reports and actionable insights to the management team.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in ecommerce technology and industry trends, and make recommendations for continuous improvement, revenue growth, and trade optimisation.
- Proven experience in managing and optimising ecommerce platforms, preferably in a B2B environment, with a strong focus on revenue generation and trade optimisation.
- Strong understanding of ecommerce principles, user experience design, and conversion rate optimisation.
- Solid understanding of ecommerce-oriented web design, CRO, SEO, performance optimisation, and best-in-class digital principles to attract and convert.
- Proficient in using ecommerce platforms, content management systems, and analytics tools. Experience with platforms like Magento, Shopify, or WooCommerce is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated track record of driving online sales growth and achieving revenue targets.
- Solid understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage timelines, and deliver results within deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for staying updated on the latest ecommerce trends and technologies.
