Supply Chain Consultant - Building Services

Job Description:

We are seeking a Supply Chain Consultant to join our team in the Home Claims Department. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing building service providers and ensuring they meet regulatory and company standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering quality service and building strong working relationships with the claims team and service providers.

This is a key role within our organization, and the right person will be able to consult with stakeholders to ensure clear performance and risk management expectations.

The consultant will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting on service provider performance regularly, as well as driving service provider performance in key areas such as repair times, quality, cost, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

A significant aspect of this role will be supporting service providers through training and ongoing guidance, including assisting with audits, risk reviews, and compliance checks.

The ideal candidate will also be able to deliver technical training on safety, regulatory requirements, compliance, and industry standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Self-motivated and disciplined
  • Solid knowledge of the building industry
  • Experience in building supply chain or contract management (highly desirable)
  • Background in assessing or loss adjusting (valued)
  • Trade qualification or building certification (highly desirable)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and report writing
  • Strong time management skills
  • Clear verbal and strong written communication skills
