Job Summary

FBR is seeking a highly skilled Lead Control Systems/Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and integrating advanced control systems and software solutions that meet our product requirements.

About the Role

  • Lead the design, development, and testing of complex control systems and software solutions, ensuring they meet our product specifications and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and software developers, to ensure successful product integration and delivery.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and technical guides.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Control Systems/Software Engineer (5+ years) with a strong track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, version control systems, and agile project management principles.
  • Experience with robotics, mechatronics systems, and vision systems, with a focus on machine learning algorithms and their application in control systems.
