Join Our Sales Team as a Sales Cadet

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our sales team as a Sales Cadet at our Melbourne branch. As a Sales Cadet, you will have the opportunity to learn the skills and knowledge required to succeed as a successful Sales Representative of our Vermeer Compact range.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Make outbound customer calls via the CRM database to identify new business opportunities and build relationships with existing customers.
  • Research new business leads and investigate customer needs to develop effective sales strategies.
  • Support the sales team throughout the sales process, including handovers, registrations, pre-delivery inspections, and more.
  • Attend industry events such as Dig Days, demonstrations, presentations, and field days to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Be supported to handle your own individual sales opportunities, including following up incoming enquires and transacting sales.

  • Customer relationships management skills
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
  • Strong communications skills, including professional presentation
  • Strong computer skills

Candidates who have worked in the hire & rental or landscaping industries will be highly regarded.
