Lifeguard Position at Army Barracks

This is a full-time lifeguard position that requires 38 hours of work per week. The roster can be comprised of either:

  • A 4-day working week (05:45–15:45)
  • A 5-day working week (05:45–13:51)
Key Responsibilities and Daily Operations

The key duties include:

  • Opening and closing the gym facility
  • Maintaining pool and gym safety, responding to incidents with first aid and CPR
  • Checking IDs and managing member sign-ins
  • Supporting physical training instructors with setup and pack-down
  • Maintaining cleanliness, equipment, and loan items
  • Managing bookings and customer inquiries
  • Reporting maintenance issues and participating in stocktakes
About the Role

We are looking for someone who holds a current Pool Lifeguard certificate and First Aid qualification, with strong swimming ability and excellent communication and customer service skills.

You will be a team player, able to work independently and follow safety procedures. A professional and reliable work ethic is essential, as well as a willingness to undergo Baseline Security Clearance.
