Job Description

This role is focused on leading the implementation of safe and effective parking and compliance strategies across Yarra.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for effectively managing local laws, school crossings, parking, environmental health, animal management and planning and construction enforcement teams. This includes driving a high performance culture that prioritizes customer centricity and delivers positive community outcomes.

With a strong focus on innovation and collaboration, this role requires a leader who can inspire and enhance capability, while creating a culture of customer centricity and fostering positive and meaningful community engagement.

The ideal candidate will have experience in driving high performing teams in a community, regulatory services or related portfolio, with a strong understanding of legislative requirements and a pragmatic approach to implementation.

As a strategic thinker, you will bring an ability to streamline processes and systems, creating contemporary work practices that support a growing and changing municipality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of safe and effective parking and compliance strategies.
