We're seeking a talented Software Solutions Architect for Cloud Platforms who will design and deliver solutions using modern software engineering practices and cloud technologies.
You'll be part of a cross-functional team of software engineers, data scientists, technical program managers, and designers who work side-by-side with high-impact and strategic customers and their engineers to build innovative solutions.
As a Cloud-based Software Solutions Engineer, you'll thrive in working with a variety of technologies, not just Microsoft technology.
You'll solve exciting business problems, contribute to open source, and collaborate with Microsoft product teams.
Responsibilities:
- Work with stakeholders to determine user requirements for a set of features.
- Contribute to the identification of dependencies and the development of design documents for a product area with little oversight.
- Develop and implement code for a product, service, or feature, reusing code as applicable.
- Contribute to efforts to break down larger work items into smaller work items and provide estimation.
- Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) working on-call to monitor system/product feature/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions and gain approval to restore system/product/service for simple problems.
- Stay current in skills by investing time and effort into staying abreast of current developments that will improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products while also driving consistency in monitoring and operations at scale.
