We Are Looking For: A Test Expertise Lead.

The Test Expertise Lead is responsible for ensuring that our Workday implementation includes best practice test management. They will ensure that all testing phases are completed confidently, documented, and tracked appropriately. Additionally, they will lead the team in briefing, training, and using test resources efficiently to support project delivery.

You will also make an impact by developing and implementing a test strategy aligned with our company's testing standards. You will create and deliver detailed test plans for all testing phases, including schedules and resource management.

Collaboration with the project team is essential to ensure that test strategies and plans meet project goals, timelines, and quality standards. The Test Expertise Lead will lead business and technology Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and stakeholders in creating test cases and scripts, with review and sign-off processes.

The successful candidate will guide stakeholders during test execution, track progress, and manage expectations. They will also manage defect triage processes using JIRA, including root cause analysis, issue tracking, prioritization, and resolution.

Key Qualifications Include:

  • An inquisitive nature with strong problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to influence and negotiate.
  • A proven track record of success as a test lead or manager in complex technology/system implementations.
  • Experience in smaller organizations with hands-on planning and testing responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience designing and executing test plans, cases, and scripts.
  • Strong skills managing cross-functional testing involving various teams.
  • Ability to work in ambiguous environments, persevere through challenges, and deliver results.
  • Experience with test tools like JIRA or similar platforms.
  • Experience with automated testing tools and methodologies.
