Highly Motivated Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join our interdisciplinary team. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and communities.
As a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals across the health continuum. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive care and support patients' transitions within and between healthcare settings.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. A strong background in primary health care and experience working in community health centers or collaborative practices is essential.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to build protocols and templates in prevention medicine and contribute to the development of innovative clinical delivery models.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing high-quality, patient-centered care
- Working collaboratively with other healthcare providers
- Developing and implementing care plans
- Ordering diagnostic tests and interpreting results
- Prescribing medications accurately and completely
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and completion of a postgraduate Nurse Practitioner program in Primary Health Care. Registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the Nurses Association of New Brunswick is also required.
