Senior Technology Leader

The Senior Technology Leader drives strategic alignment, development, and operation of computing and IT based services for a global company. This role is responsible for leading all technology requirements across offices to ensure internal and external clients receive the best technical service and products available.

This position drives change management processes, ensures smooth transitions with minimal disruption to operations, maintains robust cybersecurity protocols and compliance, and ensures business has optimal continuity solutions.

Reporting into a senior director, the Senior Technology Leader identifies and evaluates progressive strategy initiatives to drive business growth while aligning and championing Group goals and directives.

The Senior Technology Leader leads a team of 8 in infrastructure, product, service desk, and quality, acting as a passionate mentor and providing expert advice, training, and career development to help them excel.

Collaborating across departments, this role contributes to regular executive team meetings, playing an active role in business decisions, and advising where Technology can add value and promote growth and efficiencies.

Requirements

  1. Experience in a senior leadership position
  2. Extensive experience in managing Technical Teams, Business Systems, IT Infrastructure, and Service Delivery functions
  3. Proven track record of creating, delivering, and operating successful Technology programs
  4. Tertiary level degree in business and/or significant experience in related fields or significant equivalent experience
  5. Proven experience in advanced strategic planning, effectively managing change, and a focus on continuous improvement
  6. Exceptional leadership and people management skills with a proven ability to develop, inspire, engage, and motivate a team
  7. Enthusiastic and adaptable with the ability to multitask and pivot when required
  8. Strong decision-maker with the ability to think outside the box and influence others
  9. Experience working with financial and stakeholder management
  10. An exceptional communicator who leads with self-awareness and lives values of collaboration, accountability, customer focus, and innovation
