Senior Lecturer, Clinical Skills

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Lecturer, Clinical Skills to join our team at the University of Wollongong. As a key member of our academic staff, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing teaching and learning experiences for medical students focused on clinical skills and competencies related to patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and deliver curriculum and learning experiences for medical students
- Facilitate small group teaching and assess Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs)
- Contribute to the ongoing review and development of the Clinical Skills teaching program and student assessments
- Current APHRA registration as a medical practitioner with Fellowship and/or Vocational Registration (or eligibility for same)
- Recent active clinical practice in Australia
- Solid understanding of contemporary clinical practice standards and the clinical competence required for the safe practice of medicine
- Interest in medical education and a commitment to contributing to scholarship and research in clinical skills education
