About the Role

The University of South Australia is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Workforce Transition Support Officer to join our team. As a key member of our Integration Management Office, you will play a critical role in supporting the transition of Academic and Professional Areas/Units to the new Adelaide University.

As a Workforce Transition Support Officer, you will work closely with leadership and key stakeholders to execute strategies that align the workforce with the new organizational goals, ensuring minimal disruption and supporting employees through the transition. You will assist in the facilitation of a smooth and efficient transition process that maintains organizational productivity, employee engagement, and overall operational continuity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support such as scheduling and coordinating meetings, preparing and distributing meeting agendas, minutes, and relevant documentation
  • Organize and maintain data related to workforce modeling, position descriptions, and classifications, ensuring accuracy and integrity of data
  • Provide support for developing position descriptions, reviewing, and managing employment agreements
  • Coordinate logistics for placement and assessment panels, including scheduling and communication with panel members
  • Build and manage communication templates, FAQs, and staff intranet content related to the transition
Requirements
  • High-level organizational and time management skills, with demonstrated resourcefulness and initiative, including experience in managing competing demands
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to consistently produce work to a high standard
  • Ability to instigate and undertake tasks with minimal supervision and work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to structure written content logically and coherently, and tailor for different purposes and audiences
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, with experience building relationships
