Job Overview

As a senior software engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing cloud-based applications using Java and Kubernetes. The ideal candidate will have experience in building and operating shared/platform architectures in a production SaaS environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Lead and influence strategy around platform and service architectures.
  • Product Engineering: Plan and develop new capabilities to ensure seamless deployment and operation of the Nuix Neo platform.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop a cohesive deploy-your-way platform.
  • Technical Excellence: Participate in planning, backlog grooming, and technical design discussions; document features thoroughly; maintain high code quality; conduct and participate in code reviews.
  • Innovation: Stay current with industry trends and implement best practices.
  • Support & Growth: Provide maintenance support and actively pursue learning opportunities.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Education: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or related quantitative discipline.

Experience: 7+ years of experience in cloud development and operations, with a strong background in Java and Kubernetes.

Technical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and senior-level technical experience; ability to learn and be proactive; experience building and operating shared/service-oriented platform architectures in a production SaaS environment.

Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively within and across teams.

Passion for Learning: Passion for learning and developing skills in Java, Elasticsearch, and Kubernetes.

Mentorship: Experience mentoring other engineers.
