Job Role

This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment where you can make a real difference. As a Healthcare Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of patients and staff within a range of healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect potential security risks.
  • Conduct security screenings of individuals and belongings.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure a secure environment.
  • Surveillance of patients admitted to hospital for mental health concerns.
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies.
  • Apply control and restraint techniques as needed.
  • Document and report observations and incidents in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain physical fitness for a 12-hour shift, day or night, including the ability to lift heavy loads.
