Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to manage data and configuration for our Armoured Fighter Vehicle Branch. The successful candidate will ensure accurate configuration control, enable maintenance planning, support upgrades, and contribute to operational readiness by maintaining data integrity and compliance with Defence policies.

This role requires strong proficiency with Configuration Management Tools and experience with Defence asset and maintenance management systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Defence Configuration Management frameworks and Land Systems Branch policies, as well as a clear understanding of vehicle lifecycle sustainment.

About the Role
  • Data and Configuration Management: Manage comprehensive configuration control processes throughout their lifecycle, including baseline establishment, change management, and audit support.
  • Vehicle Technical Data Packages: Oversee vehicle technical data packages, configuration records, and maintenance history to support sustainment and upgrade activities.
  • Asset Maintenance Planning System (AMPS): Utilize AMPS to maintain accurate asset and configuration data.
  • Stock Control Systems (SCPM): Maintain accurate asset and configuration data using SCPM.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in data and configuration management within the Defence sector, preferably with armoured combat vehicle systems or similar complex military platforms.
  • Skills: Strong proficiency with Configuration Management Tools and experience with Defence asset and maintenance management systems.
  • Qualifications: Relevant degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields is; equivalent Defence experience will be considered.
  • Security Clearance: Mandatory possession of an active NV1 or above Defence Security Clearance.
