**Job Summary:**

Stratco is a leading manufacturer and retailer of building and home improvement products. Due to continued growth, we are looking for warehouse team members to join our busy afternoon and night shifts at our Ormeau manufacturing facility.

As a warehouse team member, you will be part of our logistics team and will be required to coordinate, pack and load products for our trade and retail customer base.

**Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Searching for items and organizing storage areas
  • Locating finished goods, as per order, ready for loading
  • Picking and packing accessories ready to load
  • Operating a forklift (licence desirable)

**Physical Demands Include:

  • General fitness - manual labour required and lifting sizeable goods of up to 25kg
  • Moving stock and large finished goods around the warehouse safely
  • Updating stock records and stock movements via scanners
  • Performing general housekeeping duties

**Loader Responsibilities Include:

  • Printing out vehicle load sheets, planning the load and placement onto delivery trucks
  • Locating finished goods and loading to the vehicle
  • Picking and packing accessories and loading to the vehicles
  • Interpreting product drawings and order sheets

**Required Skills and Qualifications Include:

  • Reliability, commitment to accuracy and customer focused outcomes
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment
  • Alertness - of moving parts, people, and vehicles
  • QLD drivers licence
  • Effective problem solver who can develop solutions
  • Excellent communication skills and computer literacy
