The Role
We are seeking an experienced iOS Engineer to join our team, working on a range of high-impact mobile and omnichannel projects. As an iOS Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with the latest technology, collaborate with cross-functional squads, and contribute to the development of high-quality, scalable, and performant solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality, scalable, and performant iOS applications using Swift and other technologies.
- Collaborate with product management, UI designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality code and meet project deadlines.
- Actively participate in all phases of the SDLC, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Help define and encourage best practices, actively participate in code reviews, and contribute to a culture of automated testing.
- Focus on continuous improvement of the product, developer tool sets, and productivity.
- Coach and mentor more junior software engineers, helping them upskill through guidance, advice, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in native iOS app development using Swift.
- Strong experience in modern engineering practices and disciplines.
- Demonstrable experience building, releasing, and supporting multiple iOS apps.
- Ability to stay calm and work through problems methodically.
- Deep knowledge of iOS application development, including UIKit, SwiftUI, Core Graphics, Core Animation, Core Data, AVFoundation, Push Notifications, Instruments, and Xcode.
- Ability to architect complex iOS solutions, experience in common patterns such as MVVM and MVP.
