Technical Application Engineering Lead

This is a senior leadership role that requires technical expertise, strategic thinking and exceptional communication skills. The successful candidate will lead data engineering projects, focusing on cloud enablement for applications and data.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead data engineering projects for cloud enablement of apps and data
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of cloud native architectures and distributed micro service based systems
  • Develop solutions to complex business problems through software standard SDLC
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Build and manage strong technical teams to deliver complex software solutions
  • Provide deep troubleshooting skills to lead and solve production issues under pressure
  • Leverage experience in full stack software development and public cloud platforms like GCP and AWS
  • Mentor junior and senior engineers to develop their skills and knowledge

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering
  • Hands-on experience in writing, debugging and troubleshooting code in mainstream programming languages
  • Strong experience with cloud technology, including design and development of cloud-native solutions
  • Experience designing and developing microservices using Java, SpringBoot and cloud SDKs
  • Deploying and releasing software using CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code concepts
  • Understanding of SFTP tools and experience working in a regulated environment
