
Career Development Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Career Development Officer. The successful applicant will be responsible for working with participants to achieve positive outcomes, including employability skills, personal development, improved quality of life, and a welcoming and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with participants to identify their strengths and goals, and develop personalized plans to achieve them.
- Provide group-based and one-on-one supports to help participants build skills, confidence, and networks.
- Assist participants in reaching their employment goals by providing feedback, guidance, and support.
- Conduct research and develop projects to meet the needs of our clients, and report on progress to stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including management, and engage with them to meet agreed outcomes and ensure project success.
- Support the delivery of open employment options for people living with a disability, under the guidance of the Projects Coordinator.
- Develop and deliver training sessions and workshops to improve participant's employability skills.
- Contribute to new business development, including involvement in planning meetings and grant writing.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence - P2 minimum.
- Meet the current COVID-19 vaccination requirement or willingness to obtain.
- Current DHS / NDIS checks and clearances or willingness to obtain.
- Current Manual Handling Certificate or willingness to obtain.
- Current Child Safe Environments Certificate or willingness to obtain.
