Job Title:

Process Safety Leader

This key role will empower teams and drive a strong process safety culture across high-risk industrial operations. As the Process Safety Manager, you will be responsible for leading Process Hazard Analyses and Safety Assessments, developing and implementing effective safety management systems, preparing and maintaining essential compliance documentation.

  • Lead comprehensive Process Hazard Analyses and Safety Assessments
  • Develop and implement robust safety management systems
  • Prepare and maintain critical Safety Cases and compliance documentation
  • Oversee licensing and relicensing activities for facilities
  • Support site audits and regulatory inspections
  • Monitor process safety performance and report to leadership
  • Ensure adherence to WHS regulations across jurisdictions

The ideal candidate will possess a tertiary qualification in Engineering (Chemical preferred), 5+ years' experience in process safety within regulated industries (AU/NZ), deep knowledge of MHF & Dangerous Goods regulations (AU/NZ), proven expertise with HAZOP, LOPA, and risk analysis, excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation skills, and strong time management, autonomy, and leadership in safety.

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Chemical preferred)
  • 5+ years' experience in process safety within regulated industries (AU/NZ)

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation skills
  • Strong time management, autonomy, and leadership in safety
