We are seeking a seasoned Account Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales force, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding relationships with existing clients in the Defence and Security industries across ANZ/APAC.

About the Role

This role involves developing and progressing a pipeline of opportunities, focusing on programmatic business development, client acquisition, and account expansion. You will work closely with internal teams to identify new business opportunities and build strategic relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Opportunity Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Defence and Security industries, ensuring a balanced sales funnel that meets quarterly targets.
  • Closing Deals: Progress opportunities through the sales cycle, utilizing negotiation and closing skills to secure contracts and deliver results.
  • Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and preferences to drive repeat business and referrals.
  • Knowledge Development: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product specifications, and applications to provide expert advice and guidance to clients.
  • Sales Planning: Develop and execute sales strategies, territory plans, and account plans to achieve assigned quotas and targets.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of projects and services.
  • Communication: Utilize sales materials, collateral, and product information to effectively communicate with clients and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Industry Expertise: 3+ years of experience in the APAC Defence industry, with a working knowledge of PNT (Positioning, Navigation, and Timing) technologies.
  • Business Development: Proven track record of business development, including qualification, discovery, progression, negotiation, and closure of deals.
  • Leadership Presence: Strong executive presence, with the ability to represent and present in front of audiences.
  • Team Player: A passion for collaboration and teamwork, with the ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and international cultures.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to work within multiple time zones and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Coaching and Development: A willingness to learn and grow, with a focus on professional development and career advancement.
