About the Role

The Kelsian Group is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Analyst to join their team. As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will play a critical role in protecting the organization's information and data from cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze security alerts to identify potential threats and respond to security incidents.
  • Manage and maintain technical cyber security platforms across IT and OT.
  • Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses and recommend remediation steps.
  • Manage and enforce IAM policies to ensure appropriate user access rights and privilege management.
  • Evaluate and recommend new security tools, software, and technologies to enhance the organization's security posture.
  • Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and technical documentation to ensure alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and security frameworks such as ISO 27001 & PCI DSS.
  • Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, risk assessments, audit findings, and patch management activities for management and regulatory review.

About You

We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of cyber security principles and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies. The successful applicant will have a tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Computer Science or Cyber Security and industry-recognized certifications such as CompTIA Security + and/or Certified Information Systems Security professional (CISSP).

Key Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of security protocols, tools, and technologies.
  • Experience with patch management systems and methodologies.
  • Experience with identity and access management solutions and best practices.
  • Knowledge of network protocols, cloud security, and encryption technologies.
  • Proficiency in conducting penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
  • Familiarity with Next Gen SIEM platforms.
