The Opportunity:We are seeking a motivated Senior Structural Design Lead to join our team in Melbourne.
This role will involve contributing to major infrastructure projects, as well as industrial and commercial developments, while providing technical guidance to junior team members.
You will liaise with clients, design technicians, and other team members to deliver practical solutions and manage clients effectively.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Becoming a technical focal point and providing guidance for the structural team
  • Applying engineering fundamentals to solve intermediate to advanced engineering solutions
  • Liaising with clients, design technicians, and other team members to deliver practical solutions
  • Managing clients, preparing fee proposals, and tender documentation
  • Providing technical guidance to junior team members
What you bring:
  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in structural design
  • Deep experience in structural engineering design and Engineers Australia Chartered Professional Engineer status or equivalent
  • Bachelor of Civil/Structural Engineering or higher
  • Strong analytical thinking skills and a problem-solving mentality
  • Willingness to mentor and check technical documentation for junior members
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both with colleagues and clients
