Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and cook meals in line with dietary requirements and preferences.
  • Create varied menus that reflect seasonal produce and cater to special dietary needs (e.g., diabetic, gluten-free, low-sodium).
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure residents' nutritional needs are met.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food preparation and service.
  • Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
About You:
  • Proven experience in large-scale catering or bulk cooking.
  • Ability to create nutritious, appealing, and varied menus.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • A team player with a passion for delivering excellent service.
  • Relevant qualifications in Commercial Cookery (Cert III or IV) and a current Food Safety Supervisor certificate.
